Get Rid Of High Blood Sugar With Yoga For Diabetes

Yoga For Diabetes, Diabetes Mellitus, also known as Diabetes is a metabolic disorder that causes high blood sugar. Insulin moves sugar from the blood to your cells for storage or for energy usage. When you suffer from diabetes, your body is unable to make enough insulin and use it for energy. Due to this medical condition, sometimes high blood sugar damages your kidneys, nerves, and other organs. Fortunately, you can practice yoga for diabetes to get rid of this issue.

Some of the symptoms you experience if you suffer from diabetes are increased hunger, thirst, vision problems, fatigue, weight loss, and frequent urination. In men, this can result in Erectile Dysfunction and poor muscle strength. In women, this results in yeast and urinary tract infections.

With that said, let us understand a bit more about this problem.

Three Types Of Diabetes

Given below are three major types of diabetes.

  1. Type 1 Diabetes

In this form of diabetes, your immune system starts attacking and destroying the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas.

  1. Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes is a result of hormonal changes that happen during pregnancy. The Placenta is responsible for producing hormones that make a pregnant woman’s cells less sensitive to the effect of insulin. This leads to high blood sugar during pregnancy. You can handle this issue by including yoga for diabetes poses in your daily schedule.

  1. Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes occurs from a combination of genetic and lifestyle factors. If you are overweight or obese, it raises the risk of this problem too. More weight in your belly makes your body cells resistant to the insulin present in your blood sugar.
